In others you’ll attack pigs that are floating in space, hoping to send them crashing into the orbit of the planet below. In some stages you’ll have to navigate through the gravity wells of multiple asteroids to reach your target. The stages themselves use this mix in varying ways, meaning the levels here have a bit more variety to them than what we’ve previously seen in an Angry Birds game. But what if you get close to a planetoid and get caught up in its gravity? It’s this manipulation of gravity vs zero gravity that gives Angry Birds Space its unique appeal. With no gravity in the void, any bird you shoot will continue in a straight line unless it crashes into another object, causing it to veer. But take those very same birds into space and things get a tad more complicated. Birds go up, birds come down – its science at its most simple. So what sets this latest entry apart from its predecessors? Space physics.Įarlier Angry Birdsgames all took place on earth, and as such, treated gamers to a style of gravity that we’re all used to. It’s a delicate balance, but it’s one that Angry Birds Space has pulled off with flying colors. It’s like Earth-2, but without the role reversal.Īs the first true sequel in the Angry Birds franchise (other games in the series like Seasons and Rio are really more spin-offs), there was a lot of pressure for Rovio to try and evolve the gameplay in some truly unique way, giving gamers a completely fresh experience while simultaneously holding on to what people love about the series in the first place. The pigs are back at it again, although this time they seem to be stealing egg-shaped meteorites rather than eggs, and the birds themselves might not be exactly the same flock we know, but an extraterrestrial equivalent. And Angry Birds Space? It plays like a brilliant melding of the two.Īs you can probably gather from the title, Angry Birds Space takes everyone’s favorite avian assassins and puts them in, well… space. Another little gem that we never seemed to get enough of was Hemisphere Games’ Osmos. But it’s certainly not the only game we enjoy around here. While it probably won’t come as a big surprise to regular readers of the site, we here at Gamezebo have been big fans of Angry Birds since it late 2009 debut. Also, there is a cloud system that syncs your local savegame with Steam’s server, so be careful when the game asks you which one one has to keep.Angry Birds Space flips the switch on the series tried and true gravity-based gameplay They are the same files as usual, but they are not in your local folder such as C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Rovio\Angry Birds Space, but instead are (at least for me) at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\somefigureshere\someotherfigures\remote. If you already have the standard v2.0.0 PC version, you must pay again to get this one (since it is not purchased from Rovio but from Steam), and it costs around 5 EUR for Europe.Īnother difference is how and where the score files are kept. Unsurprisingly, those leaderboards have their lot of cheaters (see this Mithrandir guy below), but unexpectedly, they work the same way as the ABO Game Center leaderboard works, i.e., for each level the best score between non PU and PU scores are kept, which give better scores, but which is somehow inconsistent since no PU can be used on this nor any PC versions: The only diffrence I could see wrt the standard, now discontinued PC game is the existence of a Leaderboard, obviously conected to Steam users: Together with the mission system to unlock them: The then brand new Brass Hogs levels are available: It features all the then existing episodes (only Solar System, which was released 5 months and a half later is not there): The game does not seem to be significantly different from the previous PC versions. 2015 somehow became available from the Steam platform at some epoch, and, at the moment of writing, still is: 2014, however, I just discovered one exception to this disappointing fact: Angry Birds Space v2.1.0, which was the most massive AB game update ever (30 classical levels 260 Mirror World levels) and was officially released on Jan. Many PC players cried when Rovio announced that no new game nor existing game releases would be available on PC from Nov.

Since then, OTAs became a go-to medium for travellers to book a stay, resulting in more and more hotel listings. They let everyone have a clear picture of everything. I do think this is pretty rare - I rerolled a LOT and never got this :/ Anyway, have fun and post questions - the community (mostly) is super helpful! Or a 22-cost staff with a tier 1 skill and an Aizen. For example, a 22-cost lance with a tier 1 skill and a Joan of Arc. By complementary I mean the color of the monster matches the ideal color of the class of the weapon. My totally ideal start would have been a top tier monster and a complementary weapon. If you can get your gems spent per SSR to be around 15 and you have a decent mix of complementary gear, I think that's amazing. Final Comments If you get a start with a UR-able top tier monster and average >1 SSR per 30 gems spent, I think you're doing fine. The same can't be said for monster or weapons, which is why I think they are valued less. Defensive spawns that cost 30 gems and guarantee an SSR come around every so often. Rolls that include just defensive gear may be ok for some classes, but not all. For example, 23 cost armor with reflect or constant ups (Physical armor up, magical armor up). If you are wondering which weapons are good or which skills are useful, please see the various guides posted here or on the ATeam forum ( ) The next best thing to get is defensive gear with good skills and high cost. For example, a 22-cost Heart of Deadeye bow for an archer or one of the weapon's with the ability to replace the basic attack. If you can't get a top tier monster, a high cost weapon with a desirable skill is probably the next most rare. It's just that if you can start with one, it will help you out forever. Not getting one won't cripple you - again, great monsters are farmable. A list of monster tiers can be found here ( ) A good utility monster is the hardest thing to get from spawns and will be helpful to you in almost all modes. What is considered a good starting roll? Generally speaking, the best thing to shoot for in a reroll is a top tier utility monster. If you aren't having fun, just stick with an account for a while and see if you can make it work. Tons of successful accounts have started off slow. See the comment from Sixjester below for better explanation. The goal of a good start is to allow you flexibility and ease to get the better gear later. The point is, a ton of great gear is farmable. Other classes can't rely soley on free gear quite as much, but soldiers will use Asvaris and Apollo (both free), Clerics will use Ama (free), Lancers will use Apollo and Jabberwock (both free) and Mages will use Nyx (free). You may opt for the Legend Medal weapons, the Alice Horn, and the Crystal breaker bow as well. For example, if you are an archer, your build might include Alice as your monster in all 6 of your monster slots. A lot of excellent gear in the game is free - this includes event gear, element gear, etc. Getting good gear to start out can help you in the long term. There are hundreds of free gems available throughout the game - however, once these run out, free gems become more scarce. Don't reroll just because you chose mage and used a few hundred proficiency points and then got great gear for a lancer 3. Your chosen class doesn't really matter - it's best to roll and let your gear guide your class decision. UR-able monsters are the most rare item to get from spawns 2. Some basic facts it may help you to know 1. This is also a good strategy but it's a little more time intensive. Some people opt to roll the 9 gem beginner spawns first to see if they get SSRs and then the 30 gem afterwards, knowing it guarantees an SSR. The beginner spawn (30 gem) is one of the best in the game because it's 30 gems and guarantees an SSR. If you get something good, you can always roll the beginner spawn later. Should I reroll the beginner 30x gem spawn or a different one? The beginner 30 gem spawn will be with you for a while, so if there is a particularly good but temporary spawn available (like Divine Grace, or Valk Spawn) I would recommend you do those for your rerolls. If the results of this are not good, you can repeat the process until you get a start you like. In UL, after playing through the tutorial and the first few levels, you can easily gather 30 gems and perform a beginner spawn. This is not intended to be a comprehensive beginner guide - please see the strategy forum on the official ATeam forum for those For example - Important note: I've only been playing about a month now, so other - please recommend edits or add info below if anything isn't correct! I'm still learning too :) What does "Reroll" actually mean? To re-roll means to delete your account and start the game over. Hi all, I've noticed a ton of "Should I re-roll" topics popping up and thought I'd give a very basic re-roll guide a shot. Depending on the variant and codec used (see more below), extensions can change. heif file extension, while image sequences have a. Still images stored in HEIF format have a. Apple introduced HEIF as the default image and video format in iOS 11 using the HEIC variant, which pushed companies to support it in their software, including Adobe.
